As Week 13 ends and stuvac is about to start, it's time to start my procrastination scheme and churn out a blog post!
As our bellies were filled with delicious seafood, we headed back to Tokyo Bay and set out to Disneyland! There aren't as many photos as I would like as most of the time it was so cold and windy and we decided to stay indoors with good food and warm drinks.
Heading back to the hotel, we were graced with such a beautiful view of the bay since the day had properly risen. However, it was so misleadingly - we suffered from the constant piercing winds and shivered as sudden shadows were cast above us.
Purchasing tickets from the hotel lobby, we hopped on the Disney train and headed to what will become Jellybao's favourite place on Earth.
As soon as we went through the gates, we were greeted with this phenomenon, also known as the 'Japanese way of lining up'. I thought they were lining up for some sort of event, but it turns out they were all lining to take a photo with the Frozen monument. That is a new level of order that I've never seen anywhere!
The Grand Emporium is the most popular place within the whole Disneyland. There are so many all scattered across the location, and each one was packed to the maximum. I was surprised by their range - aside from the regular headpieces and little accessories, they sold pretty high-end jewellery as well! Jellybao bought some ears, but I didn't manage to find anything that I liked much.
FINALLY....the castle and Walt Disney! It wasn't as grand as I thought it would be, but it was really beautiful. The only attraction in the castle is, yet another Grand Emporium.

The first ride we went on - we thought it was some sort of go-kart racing thing so we were excited to fight it out on the race course. Turns out that everything was already set, including the speed and it just took you in a circle. Although not hair-raising, it did give us some time for good photos!

And we were just in time for the Disney Parade! It was all very pretty and this was the prettiest float! We then decided to use 130 minutes to line up for a 5 minute roller coaster. Although the wait was long, it was much worth it (Note to whoever rides with Jellybao, watch out for the attack of the dribble!).
By the time we got off the ride, the sun was down and the moon came out to play! Although I was dying in the cold, the lights were so pretty! If it wasn't so cold, I would loved to have stayed longer. Despite the darkness and the wind, there were still waves and waves of people still coming in (we realised that there were discounted tickets after 6pm). However, they were mainly young families who seemed to have come to see the lights and buy some merchandise.
Our final ride was the 'All Around the World' cruise. We only chose to go on it as it was the only ride that had a less than 30 minute wait. Although being bombarded with 'It's A Small World' that enjoyable, but the colourful displays and the general sense of happiness around you is a pretty good way to end the night.
When we got back to the hotel, Jellybao went crazy at the merchandise shop again and stocked up on confectionery and biscuits. Not a fan of that stuff, I stocked up midnight snacks at the hotel's convenience store as well as some desserts!
Taste-wise, I don't remember much other than that Japanese strawberries taste so much better than our local ones! Another thing is that they were seriously photogenic. I mean, look at that.

Time to go and do my last quiz, and prep for those finals!
