The picture box looks pretty good~
It's like a LO PO cake but enlarged and with some yellow egg-yolk lookalike....I still have no idea what the yellow thing is, after eating two whole things!
TADAA~ It "cake" is packaged so nicely, very similar to the a high class moon cake!
I guess they packaged it nicely so it would be appropriate to give it to people as a gift! IDK!!I'm just making this up off the top of my head.
It also comes with plastic forks and a knife, so you can cut it up and share with your family and friends~
HOWEVER.....the beauty ends there.
I just took off the plastic case and this happened.....
the prettiness of the "cake" has disappeared...half the nice and glossy layer has peeled off..
rather disappointed, but I don't really mind because it all ends up in my stomach anyway ~ ^_^
かまいません~
All the white sesame bits have practically all fallen off as well too =(
But I never eat sesame just like that, so it's okay la~
CUT IT UP!
Looks exactly like a DOU SAA or a LO PO "cake": very flaky
the see-through-ish layer between the yellow and the red bean is the mochi part of the mochi cake.
it doesn't taste like much, just makes the texture a bit more chewy. I like it as it makes it more special compared to the normal DOU SAA cakes.
but extremely flaky.....the top layers just crumble the second anything touches it.
so it's rather messy to eat!
You can see all the flakes and sesame all over my table....sigh....cleaning up is so troublesome.
